STEEC, manufacturing of mechanical parts in the Rhône
New at STEEC: Turning
STEEC is increasing its skills by including turning in its know-how.
We have just acquired a numerically controlled lathe and we are developing this activity.
We are constantly working to evolve and to offer you more and more innovative techniques to ensure a meticulous and quality work.
Turning professional in the Rhône: what is a numerically controlled lathe?
The numerically controlled lathe is a machine that allows a mechanical part to be machined to the desired shape and dimensions.
The numerical control of this lathe allows the position of cutting or machining to be defined precisely via three-axis system. It allocs us to gain flexibilité by adjusting the rotation and cool feed speeds according to the material we are working with and the desired phase of the part to be produced.
